Grumpy, Tired, Confused? Welcome to Integration.
You're not doing it wrong - Energy Moves First, the Body Follows
Healing is about releasing and transforming energy so more of your truth, your wholeness, and your sovereignty can come online.
It’s about creating space for more of you.
The energetic work I offer goes to the root — untangling stuck frequencies, softening contractions in your field, and allowing more grace to flow. You can think of it like a kink in a hose that’s keeping water (energy) from moving — causing imbalances, stress, or disconnection. Or like de-weeding a wild garden: we’re not trying to force you into some ideal form — we’re simply making space for your natural essence to grow freely and bloom.
It’s are not surface-level mindset shifts — it’s frequency-level transformation.
We’re working across dimensions, clearing karmic patterns, ancestral residue, emotional imprints — the whole mosaic of what your energy field is holding. We are weeding your garden so that more of your natural essence can grow freely.
Often, you’ll feel instant relief and peace. A creative wave. Less reactivity.
And yet… Integration doesn’t always feel like light beams and bliss. It often feels like… being human. Messy, emotional, foggy, tender.
That doesn’t mean it’s not working — it often means it is.
I’ve had my fair share of post-session experiences over the years…
Feeling completely wiped out
Allergic flare-ups
Flu-like symptoms
Unexplainable irritability
Feeling totally off-center after a big shift (welcome to the void! A fertile space, but definitely not the most comfortable!)
One time, my mom and I both received a session together and we were furious the next day. Not a great day to be in the house with us — trust me. 😂
It took me a while to realize: the energy moves first.
The body and nervous system catch up later.
You’re not going backward — you’re going deeper, unwinding what no longer serves you.
Sometimes the release stirs up the very thing you’re healing. That’s not failure. That’s the frequency surfacing so you can finally see it, hold it, love it — and let it go.
Healing isn’t avoidance. It’s about bringing the unconscious into the light so it can be released.
Other normal post-session experiences - think of it like the storm before the rainbow, the fog just needs space and time to clear.
*Not here to scare you, but rather to say I see you and validate if you have these symptoms, it’s not a sign your process isn’t working wherever you are in the journey.
Grumpiness or emotional waves
Let your significant other, family, or housemates know you might need a little space. You’re not crazy — your system is recalibrating. (Stay tuned on an upcoming article I’ll be sharing about why you might fight with your partner post-session - yes, it’s a thing 😅).Headaches or body tension
Especially around the crown, neck, or jaw. Hydrate, stretch, salt baths, rest. Your body is unwinding.Fog, confusion, or disorientation
The old maps are dissolving. The new ones haven’t fully printed. Be gentle with yourself and let the fog roll through.Sleep disruption or vivid dreams
Your multidimensional self is busy behind the scenes. Whether you're knocked out or restless, it’s all valid.Feeling empty, unmotivated, or “off”
You’re not broken. You’re landing in a new layer of being. Give it time to reveal itself.Physical symptoms: allergies, colds, body aches
Not always, but yes — the body sometimes detoxes too. Let it.
That’s why post-healing care and being tender with yourself is SUCH an important part of the journey. Stay tuned for an article on Post-Session Care. More here on coming home to yourself throughout the day.
Remember: Healing is a process. It’s not linear.
Think of it like a spiral - it moves through layers, lifetimes, and timelines.
Through your breath, your bones, your choices, your dreams.
You're not here to transcend being human.
You're here to honor it.
We’re not bypassing the hard stuff — we’re loving it, learning from it, and bringing more light through it.
Trust the intelligence of your soul. It knows exactly what it is doing.
You are doing beautifully.
With love,
Brooke
